Temple of Goddess Kichakeswari

Khiching

The temple of Kichakeswari at Khiching, built entirely of chlorite slabs is unique of its kind in India. A plethora of other temples also dominate the place some of which are still in active worship. The small museum situated here boasts of highly important historical specimens of sculpture and art.

Panthasala of Orissa Tourism (opening shortly), P.W.D (I.B) Khiching, P.W.D.I.B Raruan. Also accommodation facilities are available at Karanjia (25 kms) and Jashipur. 
Transport
 
Regular bus services are available from Baripada and Keonjhar. Frequent trekker services are available too.

Deokund (65 kms)

Deokund, a beautiful scenic spot amidst green forests, has picturesque waterfall. The hill top temple of Goddess Ambika is a special attraction of the place.

Accommodation 
Accommodation facilities are available at Udala and Baripada. 
Transport 
No bus service is available to the spot. One can hire taxis/Jeeps from Baripada and Udala.

Baripada: Baripada is the District headquarters of Mayurbhanj. The Mayurbhanj Palace, temples of Lord Jagannath & Mata Ambika are situated here among others.

Bhimkund: A place of pilgrimage and is a scenic tourist spot.

Manatri: Temple of Lord Kakharua Vaidyanath is situated here. Famous for Shivaratri festival. 

Bangiriposi: OTDC Panthasala is  located here. 


Haripur: Ancient capital of Bhanja Dynasty. 


Kuliana: Famous for DHOKRA works.
