Geographical Location of the Vidyalaya

The Vidyalaya is stand on 35 Acres of land. It is situated on a beautiful plane land near the village Salbani under Betnoti Police station. The Simlipal National Park (famous for its Tiger Project in India), which is one of greatest tourist place of Orissa is standing as a wall of this Vidyalaya at the back, which doubled the natural beauty of this Vidyalaya. Some big ‘Shala Tree’ forests are also located near the Vidyalaya.  The distance of the Vidyalaya from Baripada, the district headquarter of Mayurbhanj, is around 25 Km. The nearest bus stop for local buses is Nahandasole on N.H.5, which is nearly 1.5 Km (walk-able) from the Vidyalaya and for non-stop/express buses is Betnoti on N.H.5 which is nearly 7 Km away from the Vidyalaya.

The nearest Railway is Balsore, which is the neighboring district of Mayurbhanj.  The distance is around 40 Km. The Bay of Bengal Sea is at a distance of only 45 Km from the Vidyalaya. If someone want to reach the Vidyalaya from its district headquarter i.e. from Baripada, then he has to travel by the bus that are going towards Balasore. If the bus is local bus, the one can get down at Nahandasole and can reach at the Vidyalaya. In case of express bus, one have to get down at Betnoti bus stop and from there he has to pick up Auto ( rate is @ 50/- to 60/-) to reach at the Vidyalaya. Those who are coming from Balasore, then they have  to travel by the bus that are going towards Baripada. If they are traveling by local bus then they have to get down at Nahandasole  or if they are traveling by express bus then they have to get down Betnoti.

The  weather condition in this part of the world is an extreme one. In summer mercury level goes up to 47⁰ C and in the winter it comes down to 5⁰ C. In rainy season heavy rainfall is there.
