Activities of the Vidyalaya
Co-Curricular Activity (C.C.A) :
In Navodaya Vidyalaya, a lot of
priority is given in development of the personality of a child. Keeping
this in view, the CCA is carried out. The hidden excellence and talent of
the child is located and encouraged as the individual taste, so as to
shape the personality of the child by improving his analytical capacity,
thrust for knowledge, competitive spirit, value orientation, communication
skills, leadership qualities and team spirit. Apart from academic
activities like extempore speech competition, art competition, story
telling, debates, quiz programme, dance programme etc. are conducted. This
CCA programme is normally held on every Saturday from 3.00 P.M. to 5.00
P.M. at the M.P. Hall of the Vidyalaya.
These
competition are conducted among the selected students from different
houses. As there are four house, a group of 4(four) participants is formed
from each houses. In all the competitions, who(or the house) stood first
get 5 point, second one get 3 point & third one get only 1 point.
After the end of session, on the occasion of Annual Day the best house is
declared, who (or the house)have secured maximum points.
In the year 2008-09 our Vidyalaya
was chosen to perform Art & Education Work (Performing Arts). The students
participated in Regional Meet at Indore and their performance was highly
appreciated at Regional Level. The group performed Chhou & Jhummar. This
year also our Vidyalaya has been chosen to perform workshop on youth choir
by our Regional Office(2009-10)
